Eiderlane LLC designs, builds and publishes software. The people who design each product are the people who build it, ship it and answer its support email, so nothing gets lost between teams.
Founded in 2026 to make software worth keeping.
Eiderlane was founded in 2026 by Mohmad Muqueeth, a designer and engineer. The studio publishes its own apps, starting with Ruminate, a private voice journal for iPhone. It also designs and builds products and websites for clients, from desktop apps to online stores.
We work across the whole product: research, interface design, native and web engineering, the website, the store listing, pricing and support. Doing all of it in one place is how a product ends up feeling like one thing. See our services and how we work.
Why the eider?
The common eider is a sea duck of northern coasts. Eiders fly low over the water in long, steady lines, they're built for cold seas, and their down is famously warm. Some of it is still gathered by hand from empty nests without harming the birds.
That's the kind of studio we want to be: steady, unhurried, and careful with what's entrusted to us. The flock crossing the sea at the top of this page is a line of eiders.
How we make things.
Your data is yours
We'd rather not hold your data at all. Our apps do their work on your device wherever they can, and we say plainly what, if anything, leaves it.
Honest pricing
Prices are shown before you pay, free tiers are real, and cancelling is as easy as subscribing. What you've already made with our apps stays yours to read and export.
Accessible to everyone
We design for VoiceOver, larger text, reduced motion and readable contrast from the first sketch, and test for them before we ship.
Finished, then better
We ship products that are complete on day one, then keep improving them with every release.
